My goal is to develop skills and prepare players for the next level; teaching proper fundamental baseball and the finer points of the game.  Our program starts on September 1, 2019 and ends on Januarey 31st, 2020.  Practices are in the Palos Verdes area.    Games will be played locally in the South Bay on weekends.  Occasionally, the tournaments take place during three day  holiday weekends.

Our Club Baseball Team

- During practice, our baseball coaches teach all aspects of baseball to players of all skill levels; from the fundamentals to the finer points of the game.  We provide baseball training in Hitting, Pitching / Throwing Mechanics, Fielding of all positions, Base  Running, Situational Defense, Catcher's Skills and more.   We develop skills and prepare players for the next level.  Players get a clear understanding of what they need to do in order to improve.      Our goal is to have our players reach their maximum potential.

- We incorporate video analysis while working on hitting and pitching.  Our players benefit from seeing themselves in side by side synchronized video with the best hitters and pitchers in the game.  We provide video analysis, explanations, demonstrations, and implement the appropriate drills in order to improve their efficiency.  Slow motion visualization and frame by frame breakdowns make it possible for us to point out what the best hitters ALL do - the specific and essential aspects of the swing which make them the most mechanically efficient.  If a player sees that he is doing something different compared to all the Major Leaguers, the student then has a visual concept of the adjustments that need to be made.  We provide the appropriate drills necessary to correct the flaws in the swing or delivery.

- South Bay Stallions coaches are passionate about the amazing game of baseball and love teaching kids.

- During our practices and games, it is important to us that our players have fun while playing this incredible game.

- Players on our Club Baseball Team improve and have a blast.  When players improve, they develop confidence, which makes baseball even more enjoyable.

- Players benefit from individualized attention and baseball instruction in a positive and enthusiastic environment.

- Players learn sportsmanship and benefit from positive interaction with coaches and the other players.  They gain a respect for the game and an understanding of what team work really means, on and off the field.

- We never go over the top with our players.  Baseball is a cerebral game and players should be relaxed, prepared, and confident while playing the field and up at bat.

"Coach Mainini has worked with my 12 and 10 year old sons for the last three and two years respectively through club baseball and private lessons. They are both better pitchers and improved hitters, who have an improved command of situational baseball and now own an understanding of the finer details of the game of baseball. My boys are huge fans of Coach Mark, not only because of what he teaches them, but how he interacts with them. He has contributed significantly to their love of the game."  -  Richard Rosas
